Catalytic oxidation of spent sulfidic caustic consist SH- ion or NaHS compound by H 2 O2 in neutral acidic solution to elemental sulphur may provide a convenient and economical method for the control sulphide wastes their associated odors at pulp, paper textile industry. Oxidation sulfide rayon waste hydrogen peroxide was investigated presence ferric sulfate catalyst. Kinetic equations activation energies total sulphate catalytic reaction were calculated based on experimental results. For removal from most common process involves its more benign form sulfate. The rate found higher lower initial concentration directly proportional loading addition. Optimum achieved when solutions O ratios SH-/H 1:4.2. potential user determine optimal conditions odor, corrosion treatment cost due consisting ion, etc. sulphides into sulphates be applied aqueous containing these odorants
